I no longer have access to some network folders after the migration
NOTE: If you are off campus, you will first need to connect to VPN. Instructions to do so can be found here.
The new file share works a little differently than the old one, and won't display parent folders unless you also have access to them. You likely still have access to all the same subfolders you did before the migration. To get to the subfolder you are trying to access, you’ll need to follow one of these examples
1. Type out the full path of the folder into Windows Explorer.
2. If it is something you access frequently, create a shortcut on your desktop.
- Right-click a blank space on the desktop and click New > Shortcut
- Type out the full path of the folder into the location field and click Next > Finish
