Why did I receive an email that my interlibrary loan request was cancelled?


There are a number of reasons why a request may be canceled by our ILL staff.  Our interlibrary loan functions are now automated and rely on accurate and complete citations. 

We make every effort to locate the material manually if the automated processes do not provide results.  However, there are times when the citation doesn’t contain enough information or perhaps the title of the journal doesn’t match the ISSN or available issue and volume. 

These emails include a brief explanation of why the request was canceled and contact information so that you may work with Information Services Librarians.
