Q. Why can I not access the network drives?
Your network drives will appear under “This PC” and not “Network” as you might think. A small arrow will appear next to “This PC” when you hover your mouse over the text. Clicking this arrow will drop down a list of connected drives and frequently used folders.
If your network drives do not appear in this list, you will have to log into the OES Client. This can be done when you log into your computer, or by right-clicking on this icon on the bottom-right corner of your screen, and then clicking “OES Login.”
If you are able to access your network drives, but do not have access to a required folder that your colleagues use, you will need to submit a work order so that the folder permissions can be changed to allow you access.
